As a Support Engineer for APM solution, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the APM solution and working with the customer to improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of the client applications and services at our Client Offices. You will collaborate closely with our development and operations teams to build and maintain infrastructure, automate processes, and ensure our systems are highly available and resilient.
Responsibilities:
- Software development experience in JAVA: Should have minimum 3 years of hands on programming / development / Debugging experience in JAVA
- LINUX experience: Should have hands on experience in deploying applications in LINUX environment.
- Container management systems: Should have knowledge of implementing applications using Kubernetes or OpenShift container management systems
- Database systems: Should have hands on experience in writing SQL queries in different database systems like Oracle, MySql etc.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, dashboarding tools like Grafana and log monitoring tools like ELK stack.
- Application Performance Monitoring (APM): Prior experience in using any of the popular APM tools
- Incident analysis based on monitoring/observability data.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Understanding of monitoring tools available and their working
- Strong Knowledge in writing / analysing Java code.
- Hands on experience in debugging Java applications on popular webapps like Apache Tomcat, OHS, Weblogic, Websphere etc.
- Good experience in deploying applications in Linux environment and knowledge in using basic and advanced Linux commands
- Experience as SRE.
- Strong in shell scripting
- Experience in using container management systems, SQL
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
